Description et état du monument : По периметру идет рельефная рамка (выс. — 0,5 см), внутри которой помещается рельефный крест с расширяющимися концами и кругом в центре. Сколота левая верхняя часть рамки.
Relief border (H. 0.5cm) runs the perimeter; a relief cross with flaring arms and with a circle in the centre occupy the inset central area of the stele.

Описание, прорисовка и частичная протирка надписи были любезно переданны автору Т.А. Матанцевой.
Первоначально на концах рукавов креста была выполнена надпись 1 с типичной формулой «свет, жизнь» (о ней см. IV.3.C.b). Затем, поверх букв надписи 1, была вырезана надпись 2 с формулой «Иисус побеждает» (о ней см. IV.3.C.e), причем резчик, судя по всему, забыл вырезать на нижнем рукаве хи. Одновременно с ней или позднее резчик стал наносить надпись 3: начав с верхнего поля рамки, он перешел на правый верхний угол, но затем оборвал надпись, содержащую начало заамвонной молитвы «Спаси, Господи, людия твоя» (встречается в IGLS 1508). Наконец, в левом верхнем углу он разместил инвокативную надпись 4, причем стал помещать строки снизу вверх. Первоиздатель не прочел надписи 2 и 3 и ошибочно отнес последнюю строку надписи 3 к продолжению надписи 4.
Относительно формулы надписи 4 см. IV.3.E.a. Имя Константин встречается в Горном Крыму также в Инкермане (V 150): добавление «грешник» при имени ср. в V 47, V 183, V 236.5, V 325.
Камень, очевидно, предназначался для закладки в стену. Первоиздатель датировал надпись, как и всю базилику, 2 пол. VI в., однако ее палеография ясно указывает на средневизантийский период.
