Пещера, которую Могаричев (1997, 19, рис. 68) называет церковью № 5, не
обладает никакими необходимыми признаками культового помещения. По форме креста
Могаричев датирует надпись XI–XIV вв. На самом деле, все культовые здания не только на
Загайтанской скале, но и во всей Инкерманской долине не древнее XIII в. (см. Виноградов,
Гайдуков, Желтов 2005, 78–79).

The cave, which Mogarichev (1997, 19, fig. 68) identifies as Church 5, bears no characteristics of a cult building. The shape of the cross
suggests to Mogarichev a date in the XIth-XIVth centuries, but in fact all cult buildings not only at the Zagaytanskaya Rock, but also in the entire
Inkerman Valley are not earlier than the XIIIth century (see Vinogradov, Gaydukov, Zheltov 2005, 78–79).
