Судя по нетипичному для формул слову ἐνώπιον, мы имеем дело с надписью, вероятно, литургического содержания. Это тем более вероятно,
учитывая факт ее находки в базилике. То, что речь идет о единичной формуле, а не о пространном тексте, видно из наличия всего одной строки
(верх сохранен, а внизу vacat). Не исключено также, что это подпись к изображению (ср. V 56,
V 57, V 58). Неизвестное в такого рода формулах
окончание -αεν наталкивает на мысль о том, что над альфой был надстрочный знак.
Шрифт надписи не содержит специфических написаний букв, которые бы позволили датировать ее точнее. Однако очевидно, что этот достаточно «классический» шрифт далек от феодоритской палеографии XIV–XV вв.

Judging by the word ἐνώπιον, not associated with a specific formula, we must be dealing with a liturgical inscription. This is corroborated
by the findspot being a basilica. The presence of only a single line (the top is preserved and under the text is vacat) suggests that it was
a discrete phrase rather than a lengthy text. It might even be an image-related inscription (cf. V 56,
V 57, V 58). The ending of the first word -αεν is unknown
in such formulae, and suggests that there was a superscript siglum above alpha.
The script does not contain characteristic letters that could help us to date it more precisely, but it is clear that this rather "classical"-looking script is alien to the Theodorite palaeography of the XIV-XVth centuries.
