Надпись на карнизе — несомненно, посвящение ктитора из храма ранневизантйиского времени, впрочем, неизвестно, какого. Надпись выполнена не слишком умелой рукой. Палеографически (прямоугольные эпсилон и сигма, V-образный ипсилон) она близка к V 7 и датируется 2 пол. VI–VII вв.; форма ипсилона с наклоном вправо роднит ее с V 19.

On the formula, see IV.3.B.b. It is possible that an extended formula, including "and for salvation" or "and for the forgiveness of sins"
was used. The inscription on the cornice points with a good degree of certainty to the ktitor of the Early Byzantine church as
dedicator. Which church we cannot determine. The inscription is not skillfully executed. On the basis of palaeography (rectangular
epsilon and sigma, v-shaped upsilon) it is close to V 7 and dates to the 2nd half of the VI-VIIth centuries; the v-shaped upsilon leaning to the right
is also similar to V 19.
