IV.2.A.b)

The inscription was originally published with the photograph, which is preserved at the Photo Archive of the Institute for History of Material Culture,
Russian Academy of Sciences (О.90.3). Marti dates the inscription to the Early Byzantine period, while Diatroptov and Yemets (apparently, paraphrasing Marti)
date it to the V-VIth centuries. A combination of broken crossbar and rectangular lettershapes points to the second half of the IVth or Vth century C.E. (see Introduction
IV.2.A.b).
1–2. On the formula, see Introduction IV.3.F.d.
The name Arsinos is attested in Christian inscriptions (in Latin) only in IG XIV 453 (Catania, 3rd quarter of the IVth century), and its female variant Arsina - in SEG 35.1347. Vacat in the middle of the name is due to a cavity in the stone surface.
