Некоторые уточнения в чтения были внесены при аутопсии в сентябре 2008 г. Надпись представляет собой список имен, аналогичный списку в
соседнем склепе № 1431 (см. V 85).
1. Имя Димитрий встречается в византийской эпиграфике Северного Причерноморья в V 91 и V 336, в Херсонесе известно в античности (IOSPE I2 359, 454, 686, причем в первом случае это гераклеот, см. ниже).
2. Имя Сатурнилла ни в христианских надписях, ни в Северном Причерноморье не известно, в отличие от имени Сатурнил: последнее зафиксировано здесь трижды.
3. Имя Гераклид в христианских надписях зафиксировано 7 раз (согласно PHI7 Database), в т.ч., как в нашем случае, и в дорийской форме Ἡρακλείδας (Jerphanion 1928, № 60).

In Cherson it is not surprising to find a Herakleiote, that is, a citizen of Herakleia Pontica, because the former was an apoikia of the latter.

Надписи выполнены по свежей штукатурке одновременно с христограммой и изображениями кораблей. Поэтому, несмотря на отсутствие чисто христианских элементов в надписях (формула V 82.3 для византийского Крыма вообще уникальна, см. IV.3.F.j), ее следует считать христианской. Учитывая, что все надписи выполнены одной рукой — гераклеота, мы, вероятно, имеем дело с инородной по отношению к херсонскому христианству традицией. Археологически склеп датируется 2 пол. IV в. (Ступко, Туровский, Филиппенко 2007).

Inscriptions are made over wet plaster, at the same time as the christogram and drawings of boats. Thus, despite the absence of specifically Christian elements (the formula of V 82, Text 3 is unique for Byzantine Crimea, see Introduction IV.3.F.i), we should identify this text as Christian. Since all the texts are inscribed by one hand, that of a man from Herakleia, we should conclude that we are dealing with a tradition that is alien to the Christian tradition of Cherson. The archaeological data allow us to date the burial vault to the 2nd half of the IVth century (Stupko, Turovsky, Filippenko 2007).
Inscriptions are made over wet plaster, at the same time as the christogram and drawings of boats. Thus, despite the absence of specifically Christian elements (the formula of V 82, Text 3 is unique for Byzantine Crimea, see Introduction IV.3.F.i), we should identify this text as Christian. Since all the texts are inscribed by one hand, that of a man from Herakleia, we should conclude that we are dealing with a tradition that is alien to the Christian tradition of Cherson. The archaeological data allow us to date the burial vault to the 2nd half of the IVth century (Stupko, Turovsky, Filippenko 2007).
