O Lord, help your servant Trophimos.
Commentaires:
IV.3.E.a.

On the formula, see IV.3.E.a. The name Trophimos is not known in Cherson, but was widely used in Early Byzantine Bosporos (see V 284,
V 285, V 289, V 301,
V 331).
This might also explain the presence of a rectangular theta, not common in Cherson, but attested in Bosporos (cf. V 278,
V 281).
Judging by the fact that the inscription is made on an architectural member, the author might have been a ktitor. The building from which the stone originates is not known, but it was most likely a church.
