Латышев дважды (Латышев 1892, 37, № 31; Латышев 1896, 35, №29) привел рисунок надписи вверх ногами и не дал, соответственно, ее чтения. Эта ошибка
связана, по-видимому, с тем, что ему казалось более естественным расположить надпись под крестом, а не над ним.

Latyshev twice (1892a, 37, № 31; 1896, №29) published a drawing of this inscription upside down, and therefore offered no reading. His mistake might
have something to do with an expectation that a text should appear under rather than above the cross.
